I'm considering subscribing for a little while, however it seems like I can't do so without having to give away a bunch of irrelevant informations such as my real full name and address.

Is it really necessary? I know that since this is subscription-based you'd need a way to identify who I am, but I thought my account along with the e-mail and key associated with it should be enough for intangible goods.

I just don't really like giving away sensitive information especially when I can't see the point of doing so.
